Tuesday, August 27, 2024
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions for the community.
SASSA will be rendering solutions for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency claimed it can be alarmed regarding the significant number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is often because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office committed to service the area each day. click here The company point created for intervention experiences a higher influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for that Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional methods to empower the servicing of all buyers and enhance usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
